Yoga for George
George, aged 5, from Earley, was diagnosed with Leukaemia in June 2009. He is receiving treatment at The Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. His family have set up George’s Marvelous Medicine Fund under the umbrella of the Reading and District Hospitals Charity, to raise funds to buy toys and games to be used by children with Leukaemia when receiving their treatment at the RBH.
Yoga for George is taking place at St Peter’s Church Hall in Earley one evening in February – it will be a one and a half hour Yoga class suitable for all abilities, with all funds raised going to George’s Marvelous Medicine Fund. For more details or to book a place email victoriahm@yahoo.co.uk

For the second year running Fitness First are powering International Fitness Week.
Throughout the week you can claim a FREE guest pass for any Fitness First Gym (we don’t have one in Wokingham but there are gyms in Reading, Basingstoke, & Camberley) Each day has a different theme from business to careers but the 6th February has a Community Theme. “Working out as a family can make fitness fun and achievable for the whole household. Bring the family to a club near you to get active together! ”
